Dear Readers of the YouthSpeak,

Summer feeling is everywhere. Students are celebrating their holiday time, people go out on vacation trips, enjoy the summer breeze or relax in their gardens. Everybody and everywhere? Well, the field of volunteer work and social actions never sleep. As one action or initiative is done, plans are coming up or have to be done for the next. People are coming for asking advice, to get support or just to meet an open ear.

In this YouthSpeak issue for August 2008 we want to give reference to people who seem never to stop their work, who will be active all over the vacation time, to change the world in small steps as they are being part of that development.

It is time for a summer award!
